Sozonov was born in 1984, in a place called Tyumen (capital of the Russian Oblast in West Sibiria). His musical career began in his childhood, when he studied piano and violin. After finishing music school, Artem became interested in music production using computer programs and electronic elements. Since then, he is producing material in tech-house, electro-tech, techno, minimal-techno, and minimal. In 2004, he began to release his material on different labels (Levitate records / Tongut records / Tracer records / Dirty Stuff records / Podenko records / Monomental records / DP-6 records)…. In 2008, ” About It We Are Silent” (W/Monique Fessl Remix) was released, and instantly became a hit for real tech lovers.
Sozonov combines a strong sense for horror-minimal-techno that will lead you to discover sounds that you would never hear in this style of music, proving that he is becoming one of the most innovative electronic producers today.
