Bio

Having spent his entire life obsessed with music, Oleg Slepak has developed a unique approach to sound/music composition, performance and interpretation. Being classically trained as a performer from a tender age has given him a firm foundation on to which he would develop a rich and powerful pallet of sound experimentation and expressive technique. Always searching for newer and bolder ways to express his inner voice and satisfy the urge for unique and original structure in music Oleg submerged himself deeply into the world of jazz and experimental electronic music as well as computer music production and the art of audio recording, vastly expanding his possibilities. Somewhere in the mid-nineties he was illuminated by electronic dance music and has been a devoted practitioner ever since. Participating on all levels in the scene and following a quick progression from an enthusiastic listener/dancer to djing and organizing and promoting numerous underground parties fed his burning passion causing him to eventually start producing dance music. Nearly a decade later Oleg has released numerous tracks and an album under the various monikers: animaltek, MOP, B.R.A.Z.I.L, and oscimon. His latest project slepak traces many of its influences from his vast background of sonic exploration and continues to push further the limits and trends for the modern dance floors of the globe.
