According to the artist, limitations and barriers were set to the production process so as to give a certain shape and direction to the compositions. \u2018Trip to the oblivion\u2019 for example was produced using minimal\u00a0Subtractive Synthesis<\/strong>\u00a0sound sources, whereas \u2018In the control room\u2019 was produced entirely from\u00a0custom-made Max\/Msp patches<\/strong>. Both versions of \u2018Heading to the new galaxy\u2019 were extracted and composed from long recording sessions using Analogue Systems RS8000 and EMS VCS3. Finally, \u2018Discovering the culture\u2019 is the result of FM Synthesis experiments from the monstrous DX7.
Many of the pieces give the impression of a connection between them since the same elements are present but with different patterns and structures.
